Fifty-Seven Connecticut College Student-Athletes Make the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team

HADLEY, Mass. – A total of 57 Connecticut College student-athletes were named to the 2019 NESCAC All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon. The teams include the sports of cross country, field hockey, football, soccer, volleyball, and men's water polo.

Connecticut College's women's cross country team placed 14 student-athletes on the all-academic team, which was the highest number of selections among Camel programs. Women's soccer (13), men's soccer (11), field hockey (7), men's cross country (7), volleyball (4), and men's water polo (1) all had at least one athlete chosen.

To be honored on the all-academic team, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.50. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.
