BOSTON, Mass. – Connecticut College sophomore goaltender Connor Rodericks (Buzzards Bay, Mass.) earned New England Hockey Writers Association Division II/III All-Region accolades, as announced by the organization earlier this week.
Rodericks is receiving the award after previously being named the NESCAC Player of the Year as well as an American Hockey Coaches Association All-American. The sophomore finished the season with a .937 save percentage, 2.16 goals against average and three shutouts. He also racked up 620 saves, which included turning away a career-high 50 shots in a 2-2 draw at Hamilton on Feb. 10.
Connecticut College recently completed a breakthrough season by ending the winter in second place in the NESCAC standings, which was its highest finish in program history. The Camels are slated to return more than 20 letterwinners next year, including Rodericks and their top three scorers.
