WORCESTER, Mass. – The Connecticut College men's rowing team raced at Lake Quinsigamond for the first time this spring over the weekend against Marist, Bates, Hamilton, and WPI.
The Camels scratched its varsity eight and completed two races. Guided by freshman coxswain Olivia Goodwin-Cook (Rockport, Maine), the second varsity eight to a fifth-place time of 8:33.89 on the 2,000-meter course. Maggie Curtis-Hardy (New York, N.Y.), another freshman coxswain, piloted the varsity four boat to a fourth-place finish behind two WPI groups and Hamilton in 9:15.7.
Connecticut College will look to show improvement when it heads back to Lake Quinsigamond to compete at the Barbara Donahue Cup against WPI, MIT, Rochester, and Williams on Saturday afternoon.
