Men's Swimming CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

NORFOLK, Va. – The Connecticut College men's swimming program has been recognized as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.

To earn the distinction, a team needed to maintain a grade point average above a 3.0 during the 2019 spring semester. The Camel men registered a 3.20 GPA and were among 134 programs to receive the award.

In addition, sophomore Jared Nussbaum (Ridgefield, Conn.) was honorably mentioned for CSCAA Scholar All-America status. He was recognized for achieving a GPA above a 3.5 and swimming a NCAA "B" cut standard in the 500-yard freestyle as well as the 1,650 free this past winter. Nussbaum's mark of 15:48.86 in the 1,650 free is also a school record.

The Camels graduated three seniors and are slated to return 15 letterwinners, including Nussbaum next season.
