NEW LONDON, Conn. – Junior Guillermo Garcia-Rincon (Cáceres, Spain) went a perfect 4-0 in his singles and doubles matches to lead the Connecticut College men's tennis team in its final tournament of the fall season.
Garcia-Rincon, who was competing in the top position, captured the No. 1 singles bracket by defeating opponents from Nichols and Coast Guard. He also teamed up with senior Will Cannon (Fairfield, Conn.) at No. 1 doubles and earned wins over pairs from Merrimack and Coast Guard.
Other notable performances were made by sophomores Walter Komishane (Manchester, Mass.) and Henry De Coster (Greenwich, Conn.). Both student-athletes registered a 2-2 record in singles and doubles action.
Connecticut College concluded its fall campaign and will resume competing in the spring.
