NEW ORLEANS, La. – Seniors Scott Mason (Chestnut Hill, Pa.) and Russell Adam (Cheshire, Conn.) of the Connecticut College men's cross country team received USTFCCCA All-Academic recognition, as announced by the national organization.
In order to qualify for this honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of a 3.30 or better and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
Mason, who was recognized as a Google Cloud Academic All-District selection by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) finished eighth at the New England regional meet and went on to become an NCAA All-American for the second straight season by placing 26th at the NCAA Championships. Adam, meanwhile, was 74th overall and fourth on the squad at the regional championship. Both student-athletes also helped the Camels finish eighth as a team at the NCAA New England Regional Championships.
