Coed Sailing Finishes Fourth at MIT’s Lynne Marchiando Trophy Regatta

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College coed sailing team placed fourth among 16 competing schools at the Lynne Marchiando Trophy Regatta which was hosted by MIT on the Charles River over the weekend.

The Camels only finished behind Harvard, Boston College and Dartmouth by winning 14 of their 22 races. Skippers Carter Pemberton (Osterville, Mass.), CJ McKenna (Harwich, Mass.), and Tommy Whittemore (West Hartford, Conn.) as well as crew members Cecilia Moreira (Winthrop, Mass.), Katie Rodger (Marblehead, Mass.), and Paige Dunlevy (San Francisco, Calif.) all contributed to the team's success.

The Connecticut College coed sailing program will return to the Thames River to host the New England Team Race next weekend.
