Coed Sailing Finishes 17th at ICSA National Championships

Tommy Whittemore and Paige Dunlevy

NEWPORT, R.I. – The Connecticut College coed sailing team finished 17th overall at the ICSA National Championships being hosted by Brown University.

Led by freshman Tommy Whittemore (West Hartford, Conn.) and junior Paige Dunlevy (San Francisco, Calif.), the Camels most notably finished 15th in the B Division with 186 points during two days of racing. Freshmen Harris Padegs (Buffalo, N.Y.) and Will Bedford (Arlington, Mass.) also raced in two sets to contribute to the team's success in the B Division, while sophomore Liz Davis (Naples, Fla.) and junior Cecilia Moreira (Winthrop, Mass.) paced the Camels to a 17th-place performance in the A Division by completing eight races apiece.

The Connecticut College coed and women's sailing programs are positioned well for future success, as they do not graduate any seniors and can return all of their letterwinners next season.
