HADLEY, Mass. – Connecticut College senior women's lacrosse midfielder Jamie Navoni (Natick, Mass.) has been named to the All-NESCAC Second Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon. She is receiving the recognition for the second time of her career.
Navoni, who was also a captain and the leading scorer of the Camel field hockey program for the third straight season this past fall, led the women's lacrosse team in numerous areas during the spring. The midfielder accumulated 56 points on 47 goals and nine assists to go along with winning 89 draw controls, picking up 30 ground balls, and causing 20 turnovers. In addition, Navoni ranked second in the league in draw controls, third in goals and seventh in points as well as first on the team in all three categories.
Connecticut College graduates four seniors, including Navoni, and is slated to return more than 20 letterwinners next spring.
