CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's rowing team competed at the 54th Annual Head of the Charles Regatta in the Women's Collegiate Fours race on Sunday afternoon. The prestigious two-day event featured 805 teams and more than 2,000 entries.
Guided by senior coxswain Joyce Welch (Cranston, R.I.), the Camels placed 25th among 40 competing institutions by crossing the line in 23:30.484. The group also consisted of senior Julia Vitagliano (Newton, Mass.) in the stroke seat as well as classmates Beckie Duseau (Conway, Mass.), Gavi King (Raymond, Maine) and Martha Willey (New York, N.Y.).
Connecticut College will continue competing this spring.
