CLINTON, N.Y. – The Connecticut College women's squash team dropped its opening matches to Hamilton and Williams on the campus of Hamilton over the weekend. The Camels first fell to the Continentals, 9-0, before coming up short in a 7-2 decision against the Ephs.
After the team was blanked by Hamilton, Birgitta Salvesen-Quinn (Cambridge, Mass.) was a bright spot in the team's second match against Williams. The freshman registered her first collegiate victory by set scores of 11-4, 11-3 and 11-4 from the No. 8 position.
Connecticut College (0-2) will next trek to Wesleyan to compete at a two-day tournament on Dec. 1 and Dec. 2.
