Women’s Tennis Falls to No. 7 Wesleyan

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's tennis team dropped a NESCAC match to No. 7 Wesleyan by a 9-0 score on Wednesday afternoon.

After sweeping doubles play, the host Cardinals took all six singles matches in straight sets. Junior Stephanie Simon (Wellesley, Mass.) and freshman Allison Falvey (Wakefield, Mass.) put forth the best effort at No. 3 doubles, falling 8-3, while freshman Brooke Scully (Winchester, Mass.) played in the closest singles match which was decided by identical 6-2 scores at the No. 4 spot.

Connecticut College (6-4, NESCAC 0-2) remains on the road to face Division II New Haven on Saturday at 12 p.m.
