HARTFORD, Conn. – Senior Emily Migliorini (North Haven, Conn.) won her singles and doubles matches, but it wasn't enough, as the Connecticut College women's tennis team fell to Trinity by a 7-2 decision on Sunday afternoon.
Migliorini first teamed up with classmate Britney Bartlett (Malvern, Pa.) to capture the No. 3 doubles match by an 8-6 score over Trinity's Krista Jiranek and Morgan Wilkins. She then went on to defeat Elena Pellegrini by retirement, which included holding a 5-3 advantage in the opening set of No. 1 singles before the match ended.
Connecticut College (8-8, NESCAC 0-5) will regroup and next trek to Massachusetts to face Tufts on Saturday at 10 a.m.
