  • Connecticut College Community Mourns the Early Passing of Distance Runner Caroline Grape ’22

    NEW LONDON, Conn. – It is with great sadness that the Connecticut College community learned that sophomore distance runner Caroline Grape ’22 of Weston, Massachusetts unfortunately passed away on the evening of December 10 following an extended illness. Her early passing is a tremendous loss for her family, friends, and the entire Connecticut College community which was looking forward to her happy return to campus for the 2020 spring semester.
  • Fifty-Seven Connecticut College Student-Athletes Make the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team

    HADLEY, Mass. – A total of 57 Connecticut College student-athletes were named to the 2019 NESCAC All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon. The teams include the sports of cross country, field hockey, football, soccer, volleyball, and men’s water polo.
  • Meredith Cronin Garners All-America Laurels at NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Junior Meredith Cronin (Foxborough, Mass.) of the Connecticut College women’s cross country team earned All-America laurels at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park.
  • Six Connecticut College Student-Athletes Named to NESCAC Fall All-Sportsmanship Teams

    HADLEY, Mass. – Six Connecticut College student-athletes were named to their respective fall NESCAC Fall All-Sportsmanship Teams, as announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon. Senior Megan Ferangne (Pomfret, Conn.) of women’s cross country, senior Dayna McCue (Franklin, Mass.) of volleyball, junior Ethan Milsark (Northampton, Mass.) of men’s cross country, senior Courtney Peyko (Grand Isle, Vt.) of field hockey, Luke Stoneback (Commerce, Mich.) of men’s soccer, Zoe Stublarec (Rockfall, Conn.) of women’s soccer all received the honor.

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Senior Danny Aschale (Cambridge, Mass.) and junior Meredith Cronin (Foxborough, Mass.) will represent Connecticut College at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 23 at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park in Louisville.

    BRUNSWICK, Maine – Junior Meredith Cronin (Foxborough, Mass.) clocked in an 11th-place time to lead the Connecticut College women’s cross country team to a 17th-place finish at the NCAA New England Regional Championships on Saturday on the campus of Bowdoin College.
  • Women’s Cross Country Shows Improvement at NESCAC Championships

    WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Junior Meredith Cronin (Foxborough, Mass.) and sophomore Rachel House (Merrimack, N.H.) recorded top-14 finishes to help the Connecticut College women’s cross country team place ninth among 11 schools at the NESCAC Championships on Saturday afternoon. The Camels bettered Hamilton and Trinity by accumulating 223 points at the annual event which was held at Mount Greylock High School.
  • Women’s Cross Country Tunes Up for NESCAC Championships at Home Invitational

    WATERFORD, Conn. – The Connecticut College women’s cross country program finished 18th among 28 scoring teams at its home invitational being held at Harkness Park on Saturday morning. The Camels finished with 443 points at a stacked meet with 10 nationally-ranked programs and an additional seven regionally-ranked squads in the field.

  • Women’s Cross Country Clocks in Historic 6,000-Meter Times at Greater Louisville Classic

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Junior Meredith Cronin (Foxboro, Mass.) and sophomore Rachel House (Merrimack, N.H.) punched in the two fastest times in school history on a 6,000-meter course to lead the Connecticut College women’s cross country team to an 18th-place finish with 494 points in the silver race at the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday.
  • Women’s Cross Country Races Against Nationally-Ranked Competition at Purple Valley Classic

    WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Racing against a competitive field which was headlined by four of the nation’s top 10 programs, the Connecticut College women’s cross country team finished ninth among 14 scoring schools at the Purple Valley Classic on an unseasonably warm Saturday at Mount Greylock High School. The Camels accumulated 231 points.

    NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine – Competing against nationally-ranked competition right out of the gates, the Connecticut College women’s cross country team opened its 2019 fall campaign with a fourth-place finish at the Bates Super Cross Country Shootout on Saturday afternoon at Pineland Farms.
