Barasha nets four goals in two matches on West Coast

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.--The Connecticut College men's water polo visited the West Coast this week and played a pair of non-conference matches Saturday.

 

In the second match of the day, the Camels (2-10) dropped a 10-9 decision to the Panthers of Chapman University in overtime.

 

Senior All-American Clayton Witter (Douglassville, Pa.) recorded 15 blocks with three steals in the setback.  Carlos Heros (Key Biscayne, Fla.) netted four goals to go along with an assist, a block, seven steals and three earned ejections. Senior co-captain Brian Barasha (Fredericksburg, Va.) chipped in with two goals, two steals and an earned ejection.

 

Sophomore co-captain Rob Spencer (Chevy Chase, Md.) scored a goal to go with a pair of blocks and one assist. Nick DiLeo (Coopersburg, Pa.) added a goal, a pair of steals and two earned ejections.

 

In the loss to Cal Lutheran, Clayton Witter had seven blocks and one steal. Sam Buchman (Nortfhield, Ill.) contributed five blocks in the cage. Senior Sam Burns (Albuquerque, N.M.) had a hat-trick with three goals, three earned ejections and one steal.

 

Brian Barash contributed with two goals and two earned ejections. Rob Spencer added two goals, two assists and a block to go with three earned ejections. Nick DiLeo added a goal and an earned ejection.
