Box Score TAMPA, Fla.--DePauw University earned a 79-45 victory against Connecticut College in the first round of the Tampa Bay Shootout held at the Tampa Preparatory School Saturday.

Connecticut College junior co-captains John Bullitt (Brookline, Mass.) and Matt Vadas (Spring Lake Heights, N.J.) were the offensive leaders for the Camels.
Bullitt netted nine points to go with four rebounds while Vadas finished with eight points, four caroms and two assists.
Connecticut College head coach Tom Satran was impressed with a talented Tiger squad that has scored 155 points in its last two wins.
"We didn't play our best against a quality opponent, "Satran said. "We just couldn't develop any sustained rhythm at either end and DePauw did a great job capitalizing on our mistakes."
Freshman Jared Shill (Woodcliff Lakes, N.J.) provided a spark from the backcourt, finishing with six points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals.
The action continues in the Sunshine State Sunday afternoon.
