NEW LONDON, Conn.--Senior Kacie Quick (Winchester, Mass.) scored a team-high 17 points  to lead the Connecticut College Camels to 77-68 victory against Albertus Magnus College at Luce Field House Tuesday night.

The Camels improve their record to 3-4 with the victory. The Falcons suffer their first setback of the season, falling to 7-1.

The Camels carried built a  40-24 lead  when Jenna Lovett (Tolland, Conn.) converted in the paint with 20 seconds remaining in regulation.

But Lindsay Raynor (Branford, Conn.) assisted Karle for a deuce in the closing moments of the stanza to make it a 40-26 game at the break.

Albertus rallied and took a 63-62 lead when Annie Raucci (Milford, Conn.) converted on a pair of free throws with 4:37 remaining.

On the ensuing possession with 4:22 left, Quick dropped in a three ball from the top of the key with the assist coming from Willa McKinley (Westport, N.Y.) to make it a 65-63 Camel lead. Cresencia extended the advantage to 67-63 when she finished on a nifty looking bounce pass from Summers with 2:56 remaining.

The Falcons stuck around though and kept it a two possession game when Carrero threaded the needle with a nice look to Karle on a back door cut to make it a 70-65 contest with 1:23 to play.

But the Camels were able to put the game away on the foul line and hold on for the 77-68 triumph.
