Connecticut College 3, Colby College 0 Bitchell, Bacigalupo & Adair Supply Scores for Surging Camels

WATERVILLE, Maine --(Bill Sodoma, Colby College) Connecticut College broke open a tight game with two goals in the final 14:50 of the contest to pull away for a 3-0 win over Colby College in NESCAC men's soccer Sunday.

The Camels improve to 7-2-2 overall and 3-2-2 in the league after earning two road wins on the weekend. Colby falls to 4-7 overall and 0-7 in conference play.
Matthew Bitchell (Byfield, Mass.) scored 7:10 into the game to give Conn College the lead. Billy Hawkey (Pennington, N.J.) pushed the ball to Bitchell, who ripped a shot into the upper corner of the net.
Colby was forced to play down a man after a red card violation, and the Camels took advantage. Paul Bacigalupo (Encino, Calif.) scored at 75:10 when he headed in a free kick by Zach Punt (West Hartford, Conn.).

Daniel Adair (Foxboro, Mass.) closed out the scoring at 80:45 off a second assist from Hawkey.

Max Nichols (Mill Valley, Calif.) stopped six shots for the Camel shutout. Cody Funkhouser (Hopewell, N.J.) stopped eights for Colby.
