NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College men's water polo team hosted a day-night Northern Division doubleheader at Lott Natatorium Saturday.
In the noontime matchup, the Harvard Crimson defeated the Camels 16-5. The MIT Engineers earned a 14-6 victory in the night-cap.
Senior Robert Spencer (Chevy Chase, Md.) had three goals, three steals, one blocked shot and four earned ejections in the twin-bill for the Camels. Nick DiLeo (Coopersburg, Pa.) chipped in with four goals, seven steals and one earned ejection. Senior Will Bogle (Weston, Mass.) added a goal and an assist in the loss to Harvard.
Senior net-minder Sam Buchman (Northfield, Ill.) made 15 saves, logging seven of the eight quarters of action in the cage. Sophomore Daniel Albers (Aloha, Ore.) chipped in with three saves in one quarter of work.
In the loss to MIT, sophomore Paul MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass.) scored twice for the hosts. Henry McMillan (New York, N.Y.) recorded two steals to go with one earned ejection. Aidan Kelso (Washington, D.C.) chipped in with one goal, one assist, one steal and one earned ejection.
Freshman Karan Das-Grande (Menlo Park, Calif.) checked in with one assist, one steal and one blocked shot for the Camels.
The Camels (1-13) will host St. Francis College Sunday afternoon for a noon-time Northern Division match up in Lott Natatorium.
