"While we are happy with the win, we're disappointed that we did not execute our defensive game plan to our standards," Connecticut College Head Women's Basketball Coach Brian Wilson said. "Albertus Magnus ran their offense well and made some tough shots but we did not do what we wanted to do on the defensive end. We had contributions from the entire roster today, especially on the offensive end of the floor. We received a really nice lift from Kate Cole shooting the ball from the arc and Jenna Lovett's rebounding and scoring was huge in the first half. We are so happy for Tara. She joined an exclusive club with her 1,000th point, something only twelve other women have done here at the College. She had an absolute monster game this afternoon and we needed every one of her 27 points and 22 rebounds to secure this victory. We are proud of Tara and thrilled to celebrate this accomplishment with her."
