Camels Place Fourth at D. III Championship-Heros, DiLeo & Spencer Feted on All-Tournament Team

 WASHINGTON, Pa.--Washington & Jefferson College earned a 17-12 victory against Connecticut College in the third place match of the Division III Men's Water Polo Championship.

Three Connecticut College Camels landed on the All-Tournament Team in recognition of their superlative efforts in the Keystone State this weekend.

Junior Carlos Heros (Miami, Fla.) garnered first team recognition while senior All-Americans Nick DiLeo (Coopersburg, Pa.) and Robert Spencer (Chevy Chase, Md.) were feted on the second team for head coach Matt Anderson's Camels.

Spencer scored all four of his goals in the fourth quarter Sunday, reaching the high water mark for the Camels while adding four assists and three earned ejections. Heros contributed with a hat-trick and four earned ejections. DiLeo was the facilitator in the offensive zone, registering five assists in the setback.

Will Bogle (Weston, Mass.), Stephan Cress (Rockford, Mich.), Daniel Seo (Lakewood, Calif.), Karan Das Grande (Menlo Park, Calif.) and Isaih Porter (La Jolla, Calif.) all contributed with one goal for Connecticut College.

Bogle made three saves for the Camels in first and third quarter action in the cage. Matthew Wagman (Needham, Mass.) made four stops in second and fourth quarter play for the Connecticut College.

The Camels (3-10) will resume Northern Division play this Saturday when they travel to Cambridge, Mass. for matches against Harvard and MIT.
