BRONX, N.Y.--The Connecticut College men's water polo team dropped a pair of Northern Division matches in New York this weekend.
Friday night, the Camels dropped a 19-4 decision to St. Francis of Brooklyn.
Connecticut College kept things close in an 11-9 setback against Fordham University Saturday.
The Camels (3-15) were within three of the Rams with three minutes remaining but could not quite complete the comeback.
Senior All-American Nick DiLeo (Coopersburg, Pa.) scored three goals to lead the Camel offense in the Fordham matchup.
Dylan Pinckert (Long Beach, Calif.), Isaih Porter (La Jolla, Calif.) and Carlos Heros (Miami, Fla.) all contributed with a pair of markers for Head Coach Matt Anderson's markers.
Heros drew three ejections to go with three steals while Pinckert added two earned ejections.
Junior Daniel Albers (Aloha, Ore.) finished with nine saves in the loss.
The Camels lost a match to St. Francis of Brooklyn, a mid-major Division I program Friday.
Heros had one goal and four steals. Henry McMillan (New York, N.Y.) sandwiched a goal around a pair of steals. Paul MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass.) and senior All-American Robert Spencer (Chevy Chase, Md.) both contributed with single tallies.
Albers turned aside four shots in the cage while Noah LeBeau (Long Beach, Calif.) made 18 stops.
