Brown University 18, Connecticut College 6 MacMullin & Ifshin Net Two Goals Each for Camels

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--The Connecticut College men's water polo team visited the Renaissance City of Providence Friday night for a Northern Division match against Brown University.

The Bears (11-3) extended their winning streak to five matches with an 18-6 victory.

But Connecticut College (0-6) received some great news with the return of sophomore Dylan Pinckert (Long Beach, Calif.) to the line-up.  Pinckert's presence paid immediate dividends as he finished the night with one goal and one field block in the loss.

Senior Paul MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass.) and junior Alec Ifshin (Armonk, N.Y.) scored two goals each to lead the visitors in the Ocean State. Sophomore Stephan Cress (Rockford, Mich.) chipped in with his team-leading sixth marker of the season.

Sophomore Jake Pescatore (New Haven, Conn.) and freshman Chase Lesniak (Barrington, Ill.) both contributed with two steals, one assist and one field block for the visitors. Sophomore Daniel Seo (Laekwood, Calif.) and freshman Jake Smith (Baltimore, Md.) both finished with an assist. Isaih Porter (La Jolla, Calif.) and John Evanilla (Claremont, Calif.) recorded one steal each for the Camels.

Senior net-minder Daniel Albers (Aloha, Ore.) recorded his 39th and 40th save of the season in the cage.

Matthew Wagman (Needham, Mass.) finished with one save in relief duty for the Camels.

Connecticut College returns home to host Northern Division rival MIT Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. in Lott Natatorium.
