NEW LONDON, Conn.—Senior Daniel Albers (Aloha, Ore.) made nine saves and had two steals to lead the Connecticut College men's water polo team in a close 10-8 loss to Fordham University.
Albers stopped three Ram shots in shorthanded situations and denied the visitors with a terrific save on a penalty shot. He has amassed 100 saves and 17 steals in a productive season between the pipes.
Senior William Bogle V (Weston, Mass.), Dylan Pinckert (Long Beach, Calif.) and Isaih Porter (La Jolla, Calif.) all finished with two goals for the Camels. Porter added two steals, one assist and one field block. Junior Aiden Kelso (Washington, D.C.) chipped in with one goal, two assists and one field block.
Junior Henry McMillan (New York, N.Y.) contributed with one goal, one steal and one field block.
Paul MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass.) had one assist.
The Camels (1-12) will host Brown University tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. and will match up with Northern Division rival Iona later on at noon in Lott Natatorium.
