Connecticut College 85, Roger Williams U. 71 Undefeated Camels (3-0) Out-Score Hawks 25-13 in 4th Quarter

BRISTOL, R.I.--Payton Ouimette (pictured, Medfield, Mass.) poured in a game-high 21 points and had 11 rebounds five steals and four assists to lead the Connecticut College women's basketball team to an 85-71 victory at Roger Williams University Tuesday night.

The undefeated Camels (3-0) were leading 60-58 after three quarters of action but broke the game open by out-scoring the Hawks (2-3) 25-to-13 in the fourth quarter.

Rookie point guard Kylie Caouette (Ashburnham, Mass.) scored 16 points for the Camels and was 4-for-6 from long distance and a perfect 4-for-4 at the charity stripe. Junior captain Liz Malman (Mendham, N.J.) finished with 14 points and four rebounds for the Camels. Freshman guard Natalia Baum (West Springfield, Mass.) added 13 points and five boards, connecting on 6-of-10 shots from the field.

The Camels enjoyed a 45-to-39 advantage on the backboards and connected at an 86% clip from the foul line (18-for-21).

Junior guard Katie Lowerre (Sharon, Mass.) scored 18 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead Roger Williams in the setback.   Sophomore forward Maria Nicholas (Acushnet, Mass.) had 15 points and four rebounds for the Hawks. Junior Bridget Quilty (Duxbury, Mass.) reached double digits with 10 points, eight rebounds and eight blocked shots.
