CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--The Connecticut College men's water polo team dropped a 14-6 decision at MIT in the regular season opener Saturday afternoon.
The Engineers, ranked #3 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III Poll, improved to 3-1.
Junior Henry McMillan (New York, N.Y.; pictured far left with classmates left-to-right Alec Ifshin, Aidan Kelso and Karan Das Grande) erupted with three goals, four steals and one field block to lead the Camels (0-1) in the setback. Junior Karan Das Grande (Menlo Park, Calif.) contributed one goal, one field block and one steal while Paul MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass.) and Daniel Seo (Lakewood, Calif.) both added one goal,
Sophomore Isaih Porter (La Jolla, Calif.) sandwiched a pair of assists around one steal while senior Andrew Bullis (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) contributed with one assist and one field block. Freshman Johnathan Evanilla (Claremont, Calif.) had one assist.
Freshman Chase Lesniak (Barrington, Ill.) contributed with two steals and one field block in his first Northern Division match. Sophomore Jake Pescatore (New Haven, Conn.) added one field block.
Senior net-minder Daniel Albers (Aloha, Ore.) finished with seven saves and one steal. Matthew Wagman (Weymouth, Mass.) registered one save and one steal.
