Connecticut College 1, Elms College 0 Patch's Goal in 56' Propels Camels to 2nd Straight Win

CHICOPEE, Mass.--Colin Patch (Providence, R.I.) scored in the 56th minute of action to lift the Connecticut College men's soccer game to a 1-0 victory against Elms College in a mid-week matchup played in Western Massachusetts today.

The Camels improved to 4-2 with their second straight win, while the Blazers slipped to 2-5 with the loss.

Junior Austin DaCunha (Brookfield, Conn.) picked up his second shutout of the season, recording one save for the winning side.

Christian Kostka finished with five stops for the hosts.

The visiting Camels held a 13-to-9 edge on the shot chart and held a 9-to-4 advantage on corner kicks.

Connecticut College will host Hamilton Saturday for a 2;00 p.m. NESCAC game in New London.
