Connecticut College 77, CCNY 75 Rowe Puts in Buzzer Beater as Camels Post 10th Win of the Season

NEW YORK, N.Y.--Tyler Rowe (East Hartford, Conn.) did it again. Rowe scored at the buzzer and had 18 points and five assists to lift the Connecticut College Camels to a 77-75 victory against the City College of New York Tuesday night.  

Saturday afternoon, Rowe converted the game-winning field goal with 16.1 seconds left to vault the Camels past Middlebury College, 82-81.

Winners in 10 of their last 11 games, the Camels improved to 10-3 with the triumph. The Beavers had their two-game winning streak halted, falling to 9-6.

"I'm not sure we deserved to win but we made a few big plays at the end," Connecticut College Head Men's Basketball Coach Tom Satran said. "City College played really well and presented some tough match ups that we really couldn't handle so we were really fortunate get the win." 

David Labossiere (Stoneham, Mass.) chipped in with 14 points and six rebounds. Bo McKinley (Westport, N.Y.) finished with nine points while junior Zuri Pavlin (New York, N.Y.) hauled in eight rebounds to go with his six points and four blocked shots.

The Beavers were paced by Mark Richards (Orangeburg, N.Y.), who poured in a game-high 24 points while adding eight rebounds in the loss. Khalil Hamer (New York, N.Y.) and Robbie Dionisio (Shirley, N.Y.) chipped in with 16 points each for the hosts. David Solano (Westchester, N.Y.) reached double figures with 10 points for CCNY.
