The Camels improved their record to 8-3-2 with a 5-2 mark in conference play while the Cardinals slipped to 5-5-2 overall with a 2-3-2 record in the NESCAC.
Junior forward Anna Bleck (pictured, Lake Forest, Ill.) contributed the game-winning assist for the Camels.
Senior Katherine Chester (Mendham, N.J.) made 19 saves between the pipes en route to the 11th shutout of her prolific playing career.
Rookie net-minder Allegra Grant (Winnetka, Ill.) turned aside 28 of 29 shots for the Cardinals.
Connecticut College out-shot the Cardinals 29-to-19 in the triumph.
The two teams will meet again tomorrow afternoon for a 3:00 p.m. game in Middletown.
