Women's Basketball Defeats New Rochelle, 74-44, for Fifth Straight Win

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The Connecticut College women's basketball team won its fifth straight game by earning a convincing 74-44 victory over New Rochelle on Saturday afternoon.

Senior Mairead Hynes (Mahopac, N.Y.) led the Camels by scoring 19 points and pulling down seven rebounds. Junior Caroline Pangallo (Fairfield, Conn.) and freshman Casey Walsh (Phoenixville, Pa.) netted 13 apiece, while Pangallo also dished out three assists.

New Rochelle (2-4) was paced by Dar'Neisha Brice's 19-point effort. Caitlin Harrison grabbed nine boards.

Connecticut College (5-1) will next visit Trinity for a non-conference game on Monday, Dec. 4 at 7:00 p.m.
