NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Connecticut College men's tennis team fell 9-0 to neighboring Coast Guard on Wednesday afternoon.
In doubles play, Coast Guard dominated all three matchups, winning by scores of 8-3, 8-2, and 8-2. Seniors
Henry De Coster (Greenwich, Conn.) and
Julian Tien (Barrington, R.I.) put up the best fight for the Camels, falling 8-3 in the first doubles match.
Singles was much of the same story, as the Bears swept all six matchups on their way to an overall 9-0 victory. A bright spot for Connecticut College was freshman
Jules Taylor-Kerman (New York, N.Y.) forcing a third set in the third singles match before eventually falling to Coast Guard's Sean Dreher.
