WATERFORD, Conn. – Senior
Emi Schwab (Cheshire, Conn.) and junior
Julia Curran (Cumberland, Maine) collectively posted the top time individually as the Connecticut College women's cross country team topped Mitchell College on Friday afternoon at Stenger Farms.
The top five individual finishes were dominated by Connecticut College. Schwab and Curran took first and second place in the 6k race with a matching time of 23:38 while their teammate
Rachel House (Merrimack, N.H.) finished behind them at 23:42. The Camels took fourth place individually as well with a time of 24:06 run by sophomore
Lauren Hino (Berwyn, Pa.). Mitchell College's Lara Jacobs was able to sneak into the top five behind Hino with a time of 24:37, and freshman
Anna Batelli finished sixth in 24:40.
The Camels will compete again in the Connecticut College Invitational at Harkness Park in Waterford on Saturday, October 16th.
