PRINCETON, N.J. - The Connecticut College men's water polo team fell to Harvard University by a 22-10 score in its opening game of the CWPA Northeast Water Polo Championships on Friday afternoon on the campus of Princeton University.
The Crimson netted the first four goals of the match and outscored the Camels by a 10-3 margin in the first quarter to take control early. The second quarter was more competitive with both sides finding the back of the net three times, but Harvard was spearheaded by a strong third to pull away.

Lucas Verrilli (Evanston, Ill.) registered a hat trick to lead the way for the Camels in the losing effort, while Saki Nelson (Montgomery, Texas) and
Mike Gertsik (Brooklyn, N.Y.) had two apiece.
Connecticut College (1-14) will play twice tomorrow to wrap up tournament play and next face Iona College at 10 a.m.
