CLINTON, N.Y. - The Connecticut College men's squash team lost to Hobart College on Friday night by a score of 9-0.

Tyler Maguire (Middletown, R.I.) took a set off of Hobart's Mohamed Abdelhafez in the first singles match but was unable to take the game as he ended up falling 3-1 (11-2, 11-9, 3-11, 11-7). Hobart dominated all of the other matchups as they completed the sweep of the Camels on the day.
Connecticut College (0-1), which is playing its first matches since the end of the 2019-20 season this weekend, will remain in Clinton, N.Y. to take on NESCAC opponents Hamilton and Tufts at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. respectively on Saturday.
