CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Connecticut College water polo team dropped a pair of road matches to Harvard and MIT on Saturday. The Camels first fell to the Crimson, 17-8, before completing the afternoon with a 20-5 setback against MIT.

Grant Archer (Miami, Fla.) put the Camels on the board first, Michael Del Mundo fired home the first three goals for Harvard to put the Crimson in control. The Camels came within two at 6-4 when senior
Lucas Verrilli buried on with 1:41 left before halftime, but that was as close as the visitors would come. Nathan Wu made 12 saves in the second half alone to preserve the win for Harvard.
Archer led Connecticut College with four goals in the match.
MIT 20, Connecticut College 5
MIT, which is ranked eighth nationally in Division III, scored seven goals in the first quarter en route to victory in the Camels' second match of the day. Miller Geschke extended the margin to double digits at 14-4 in the third, and the visitors were unable to recover.
Christian Jacobsen (North Palm Beach, Fla.) netted another hat trick to pace the Camels in the losing effort.
Connecticut College (1-13) will next trek to Princeton to compete at the CWPA Northeast Tournament which begins on Friday, Nov. 19.
