MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - The Connecticut College women's squash team lost to Wesleyan on Wednesday night by a score of 8-1. 
 
Sitting in position No. 3, sophomore Karen Escalera (New Haven, Conn.) defeated Marangela James in five sets and by a score of 3-2 (4-11, 11-8, 11-4, 5-11, 12-10). 
 
Connecticut College (2-4, NESCAC 0-3) will be taking a break from competition for final exams and the holidays and will resume competing at the Pioneer Valley Invitational in South Hadley, Mass. on Jan. 15, 2022.
