HARTFORD, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's tennis team fell to Trinity by a 6-3 score in the season opener for both schools on Saturday afternoon.
After the Bantams swept doubles to gain control, the teams split singles matches to close out the afternoon. Freshman
David Poudrier (Fairfield, Conn.) won his first collegiate match by downing Dylan Powell, 6-3 and 6-2, in No. 3 singles. Senior
Zak Danz (West Tisbury, Mass.) took down his opponent at No. 2 by identical 6-3 scores, while
Walter Komishane (Manchester, Mass.) captured the No. 6 position by outcomes of 6-3 and 6-1.
