HARTFORD, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's ice hockey team dropped a 6-2 decision to Trinity in an exhibition matchup between the Nutmeg rivals on Sunday afternoon at the Koeppel Community Sports Center.
Like yesterday's game at Dayton Arena, most of the goals were generated on special teams. Senior captain
Matt Creamer (Warwick, R.I.) netted the first Camel goal in the opening period on a power play when he got a bounce off the back of the glass following an initial shot taken by fellow captain
Brett Stirling (Aurora, Ontario).
In the third period, freshman
Seth Stadheim (Lyme, N.H.) tallied the second goal for the Camels on another power play opportunity. He slipped in behind the Bantam defense and finished with his backhand that landed in the upstairs netting.
