Men’s Tennis Drops First Home Match To Trinity

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's tennis team dropped its second match of the spring against Trinity by a 6-3 score on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Camels, who were competing at home for the first time in more than a year, earned their first point through the efforts of senior Zak Danz (West Tisbury, Mass.) and junior Julian Tien (Barrington, R.I) at the No. 1 doubles position. Danz and Tien teamed up to take down their opponents, Chris Bilicic and Henry Bilicic by a score of 8-4.
 
Danz and Tien were also victorious in their singles matches. Tien triumphed over his opponent, Granville Kaynor, by scores of 7-6, 3-6, and 10-5 at the No. 1 position, and Danz captured his match against Ross Derose by scores of 6-4 and 7-6 at the No. 2 singles spot.
 
Connecticut College (0-4, NESCAC East 0-2) will next visit Tufts tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m.
