Box Score LEWISTON, Maine – The Connecticut College women's lacrosse team dropped its final NESCAC East matchup of the season to Bates by a 14-3 score on Sunday afternoon at Garcelon Field.

Bates (2-2, NESCAC East 1-2) rode a wave of excitement of honoring nine seniors and playing their first home game in more than a year to gain a 7-0 advantage by halftime. Led by Kathryn Grennon's hat trick, all seven goals were scored by Bobcat seniors. On the other end, senior goalie Rachael Deptula stopped all four shots she faced.

The Camels regrouped during the break and attempted to get back into the contest when the second half resumed. Senior Minnie Stavis (Cohasset, Mass.) put the visitors on the board with a free position goal with 28:23 on the clock, but they could not overcome the major deficit from the opening half. The Bobcat seniors continued to account for the scoring in the second frame, netting 13 overall in the contest, en route to earning the 11-goal win.

Summer Dias paced Bates with six points on four goals to go along with two assists, and Grennon provided four tallies as well as a helper. Dias also won four draws. Deptula finished with eight saves to earn the win in the cage.

Connecticut College (0-5, NESCAC East 0-3) got goals from Stavis, junior Alyssa Pietz (Brentwood, N.H.) and Emily Yorns. Yorns also had another solid all-around effort by also finishing with five ground balls, three draw controls, and one caused turnover. Freshman Violette Nidds (Ridgewood, N.J.) and sophomore Jordan Barbagallo (Mahopac, N.Y.) combined to turn away nine Bobcat shots.
