PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Connecticut College women's squash team fell to Brown by a score of 9-0 on Thursday evening. The Camels fell to 3-7 on the year and remain 0-4 in conference matchups.
Despite the 0-9 score, Connecticut College junior
Tanya Mendoza (Bronx, N.Y.) closely contested her opponent by challenging Brown's Alyssa Kuwana with three consecutive 11-7 sets before falling in 3-0 fashion. Similarly, sophomore
Caroline Champa (Boston, Mass.) fell 3-0 (11-4, 11-9, 11-4) to Brown's Naomi Shammash.
Connecticut College (3-7, NESCAC 0-4) will next host Mount Holyoke on Friday, January 28
th at 8:00 pm. in a non-conference matchup.
