MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - Junior Mitchell Lockwood (Winchester, Mass.) won two individual events and was a part of two victorious relay teams, as the Connecticut College men's swimming and diving team took down Wesleyan 189-108 on Friday night.

The Camels (4-2) set the tone early with a win in the first men's event of the evening. The 200 yard medley relay team of Lockwood, AJ Steininger (Manhattan, N.Y.), Justin Finkel and Julien Legros (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) touched the wall first at 1:33.65. They were closely followed by the second Camels relay team three seconds later.

Lockwood followed up his first relay performance with wins in the 100 yard backstroke and the 100 yard free. He finished his evening as the anchor leg of the 200 yard free relay, which finished first in the final event of the duel meet.

Connecticut College also found success in the 1000 yard free by taking the top three spots of the event. Josh Franco (Weston, Conn.) finished first with a time of 9:55 followed by teammates Zahar Tate (Auckland, New Zealand) and Will Nash (Chatham, N.J.).

Kai Listgarten (San Mateo, Calif.) won both diving events for the Camels recording scores of 245.85 and 226.95 in the 1 meter and 3 meter events respectively.

The Camels will next travel to Colby College to take part in the NESCAC Championships beginning on February 17.
