As of Tuesday, February 1, the Connecticut College Department of Athletics will allow outside spectators. This policy will remain in effect when the college is in Alert Level 1 - GREEN - Connecticut College Covid Dashboard. Spectator capacity will be limited to 50% for all indoor venues to allow for social distancing. Spectators from outside the college community must meet the following requirements to attend indoor athletic events at Connecticut College:
- Well-fitted masks (surgical or KN95) must be worn at all times by spectators regardless of vaccination status. Failure to do so may result in loss of spectator privileges
- All spectators are required to fill out the Visitor Attestation Form and present it upon entering the athletic venue.
- Spectators must meet one of the following conditions:
- Fully vaccinated with booster shot
- Provide proof of COVID-19 within the last 90 days
- Negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of entrance
- Doors will open 30 minutes prior to game time. Spectators must proceed directly to the venue and may not visit other areas of the facility for the safety of our community
- Spectators are not permitted to engage with athletes and coaches prior to the the start of the game
- The consumption of food and beverages in close proximity to others increases the risk of spreading the virus, and we ask you to not bring those into the venues
- We ask spectators to depart the venue promptly after the conclusion of the game
- Connecticut College and all other NESCAC member institutions prohibit team gatherings, receptions or other events with family and friends, home or away, before or after any game or practice (e.g., post-game tailgates), until further notice
- SQUASH SPECTATOR POLICY - our squash venue spectator capacity is extremely limited and at this time we will not be able to accommodate outside spectators
