MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- The Connecticut College men's squash team fell to Wesleyan 7-1 on Wednesday night at Rosenbaum Squash Center.
Senior
Ryan Mach (Concord, Mass.) won the lone decision for the Camels. Mach defeated Toby Goldston in the No. 4 position in four sets: 11-1, 11-9, 9-11, 11-9.
The match of the day occurred in the top slot where Camels junior
Sam Lovejoy (Branford, Conn.) took on Nimai Kini. After dropping the first two sets, Lovejoy stormed back to win the third set 11-9 and the fourth set 11-8. The final frame was extremely competitive but Kini pulled off the match that lasted over one hour by winning the fifth set 13-11.
Connecticut College (1-6) will break for the remainder of the semester and return to action on Jan. 14 against Denison.
