NEW LONDON, Conn.- In their regular season finale, the Connecticut College women's lacrosse team fell to no. 11 ranked Wesleyan by a score of 3-19. This marked the end of a 6-9 overall regular season for the Camels and the team earned the program's first NESCAC victory since 2016 after defeating Bates on April 16th.

The first half of the game was rough for the Camels, being held without a score and allowing the Cardinals to find the back of the net on 12 separate occasions to pull ahead by a sizeable margin. The host team came alive late in the second half but it was not enough to overcome the large deficit that the Camels found themselves in. Sophomore
Julianna Ingrassia (Garden City, N.Y.) scored two goals on the day, including a beautiful breakaway goal in the fourth quarter, to lead the Camels in scoring and bring her season total to 20 goals.

Goalkeeper
Violette Nidds (Ridgewood, N.J.) took the loss for the Camels while totaling 11 saves. Abby Wolk earned the win for the Cardinals by holding the Camels scoreless for the duration of her time in net.
