NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Connecticut College women's water polo team hosted CWPA conference contests this past weekend at Lott Natatorium. The two-day event featured five teams from the East Region. The Camels competed against Washington & Jefferson, Penn State Behrend, Grove City, and Utica and compiled a 1-3 record.

Weekend Highlights:
- Meiling Bottan (Lexington, Mass.) scored her first goal of the season
- Kendall Foley (Sammamish, Wash.) scored her second goal of the season
- Maria Sell (San Mateo, Calif.), Marissa Moreno (San Diego, Calif.), and Sarah Franco (Weston, Conn.) were the leading goal scorers
- Maiko Okamura (Osaka, Japan) and Jazmine Silva (New London, Conn.) got key minutes of playing time in their first season
- The Camels celebrated its two seniors, Moreno and Olivia Fechner-Lewis (Berkeley, Calif.)Â prior to their second game.
Connecticut College will next play Brown University on April 16 before beginning play at the CWPA Championships the following weekend.
