NEW ORLEANS – Both Connecticut College cross country programs were ranked in the preseason edition of the 2022 NCAA Division III Cross Country National Coaches' Polls,  as released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday.

The Camels are ranked #28 on the women's side – their first national ranking since 2008 – while the men checked in at #31. Both programs were ranked fourth in the Mideast region. Voting for the USTFCCCA poll is done by 10 member coaches – one from each of the division's 10 regions – who also produce the regional rankings.

Connecticut College will open the 2022 season at the Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday, September 10 at the Wes Fuhrman '05 Trails at Long Lane Farm.
