HADLEY, Mass. -- In light of the tragic events that took place in Lewiston, Maine on Wednesday, and the ongoing investigation, the NESCAC and member institutions have made several adjustments to the upcoming weekend schedule as Bates, Bowdoin, and Colby will not be hosting events on their campuses this weekend.

Football
The following football games scheduled for Saturday, October 28 have been postponed and will be played on Saturday, November 18 at the originally scheduled sites and times.
Williams at Bates – postponed to Nov. 18
Trinity at Bowdoin – postponed to Nov 18
Middlebury at Colby – postponed to Nov 18

NESCAC Cross Country Championships | Championship Central
The NESCAC Cross Country Championships hosted by Amherst will be held as scheduled on Saturday, October 28. The men's race begins at 11 a.m. and the women's race follows at 12 p.m.

NESCAC Field Hockey Quarterfinal | Championship Central
The quarterfinal game between Bowdoin and Bates originally scheduled to be played at Bates on Saturday, October 28 has been postponed to Tuesday, October 31 at 7 p.m. All other quarterfinal games will be played as originally scheduled.

NESCAC Women's Soccer Quarterfinal | Championship Central
The quarterfinal match between Conn. College and Bowdoin originally scheduled to be played at Bowdoin on Saturday, October 28 has been moved to Sunday, October 29. The game will be played at Tufts University at a time to be determined. All other quarterfinal games will be played as originally scheduled.

Volleyball
The volleyball matches involving Bates this weekend versus Amherst and Williams have been canceled. As a result, the conference regular season will not be completed in full and the NESCAC Volleyball Championship has been adjusted to an 11-team format.

Teams seeded No. 6 through No. 11 will play first-round matches on Friday, November 3 at the higher seed. The No. 5 seed will travel to the No. 4 seed on Saturday, November 4. The semifinals and final will be played on November 10 and 11 at the highest remaining seed.
