WORCESTER, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's rowing team wrapped up the fall season with a strong performance at the Wormtown Chase at Lake Quinsigamond on Saturday.
The Camels 1V8 boat placed fifth in a fast field of top New England contenders, completing the course in a time of 21:16.8. Conn's 2V8 boat also checked in at 13th in the field of 15 with a time of 23:33.9.
Conn competed in two other races on the day. The Camels had a pair of boats in the collegiate 4+ race and finished 10th (23:50.7)and 11th (24:19.9) in the field of 14. The Novice 8 crew also got a chance to get in the water for the first race of their collegiate rowing careers, finishing ahead of WPI in the five-team event with a time of 26:13.3.
