ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Connecticut College women's squash team rebounded from back-to-back losses, defeating host Bard College 7-0 on Saturday from Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. With the win, Conn improves to 3-4 on the year.
Conn dominated Bard, winning each match in straight sets. Rachel Matamoros (New Haven, Conn.) started things off, beating Jacinta Creel in first singles 11-3, 11-0, 11-2. Conn continued their strong play throughout, finishing with Magnolia Strouse (Brooklyn Heights, N.Y.) defeating Aqela Nussrat 11-1, 11-3, 11-2.
Conn (3-4) returns to play in 2024, as the Camels travel to Carlisle, Pa. to take on Dickinson College at 12:00 p.m. on January 13th.
